Nick Bedford
Non-Executive Chairman
Nick Bedford, chartered accountant, is a highly experienced finance professional who has worked for large PLCs, including Capita PLC and Misys PLC, supporting main board directors and senior management on a financial, operational and commercial level. Nick also has significant experience in large corporates as well as smaller enterprises and has previously been a member of Audit and Risk Committees. He also has extensive acquisition and disposal experience.
Ian Smith
Executive Director
Ian has an extensive track record of investing in and managing technology companies and is co-founder and CEO of MXC Capital. Ian has sat on numerous boards and either led or been involved in a large number of transactions in the TMT sector. Ian led strategic change and value accretion at Redstone plc and Accumuli plc and was previously deputy executive chairman and CEO at Castleton Technology plc.
Nicola Chown
Chief Financial Officer
Nicola, a chartered accountant, is a highly experienced finance professional who has over twenty years’ experience in finance and business development leadership roles. Nicola has been the Chief Financial Officer of Tialis since 2021 and oversees the financial operations of the Group as well as the HR, property and legal teams. She has introduced financial and operational processes and has been central in the integration of new systems and in implementing strategic measures.
Matt Riley
Non-Executive Director
Matthew Riley is the founder and chairman of the Daisy Group, the largest independent provider of IT, communications and cloud services to UK businesses. He joined Tialis in February 2023 following the purchase of profitable partner contracts from Allvotec, a former division of the Daisy Group. Matthew is a successful, award-winning entrepreneur with a strong track record in delivering consistent growth for market-leading organisations across a range of sectors. He ardently supports British enterprise, entrepreneurship and start-ups, he is the chairman of software-based career platform U-Explore and is a Fellow of The Prince’s Trust, Matthew is dedicated in supporting the provision of practical career guidance to young adults.
